Introduction to the Basics of Silicon-Manganese Alloys: 1. Concept: Silicon-Manganese Alloy is an alloy composed of manganese, silicon, iron, and a small amount of carbon and other elements. It is a widely used and highly produced ferroalloy. Silicon-Manganese Alloy is a commonly used composite deoxidizer in steelmaking and a reducing agent in the production of medium- and low-carbon ferromanganese and in the electrosilicothermic process for the production of metallic manganese.
Introduction to Silicon-Manganese 6818: Silicon-Manganese Alloy is used in steelmaking. The deoxidized products, MnSiO₃ and Mn₂SiO₄, have melting points of 1270°C and 1327°C, respectively. They offer advantages such as a low melting point, large particle size, easy floatability, and excellent deoxidation.
Specifications and Particle Size: Natural block, 10-100mm, powder, or customizable upon request.
Packaging: One metric ton in a large bag, or customized upon request.
Applications of Silicon-Manganese 6818: Silicon-Manganese Alloy is an alloy composed of manganese, silicon, iron, and a small amount of carbon. Silicon-manganese alloy is primarily used as an intermediate material for deoxidizers and alloying agents in steel production, and is also the primary raw material for the production of medium and low-carbon ferromanganese. Silicon-manganese alloy can also be smelted in large, medium, and small submerged electric arc furnaces in continuous operation.
